Canada Launches New French-Language Draw — Francophone Immigration a Priority
According to the Government of Canada, Express Entry invites candidates throughout the year based on their CRS scores. The latest draw, held on November 28, 2025, focused on French language proficiency and issued 6,000 invitations with a minimum CRS score of 408. Canada conducts different types of rounds, including general draws, program-specific draws, and category-based draws created to meet economic goals. Candidates must qualify for one of the three Express Entry programs to be in the pool, and those with provincial or territorial nominations continue to receive invitations through both general and PNP-specific rounds.
