Bow Valley Collage Fall Career Boost 2025

On October 8, 2025, Hinotori Consulting Solutions proudly participated in the Bow Valley College Fall Career Boost, an event dedicated to helping students explore new career paths and gain valuable insights into their professional futures.

The event brought together students, employers, and industry experts for a day of learning and networking. At the Hinotori booth, we had the opportunity to connect with many driven individuals and share how we can help students grow their skills, build confidence, and prepare for real-world opportunities.

Our main goal was to provide solutions and guidance to international students, especially those who are unable to utilize their Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), by sharing how Hinotori can support their career development and open alternative pathways for success.

It was inspiring to see so many students eager to take the next step in their career journey. Events like these play a vital role in building connections and preparing future professionals for success.

The latest draw, held on November 28, 2025, focused on French language proficiency and issued 6,000 invitations with a minimum CRS score of 408. The latest Express Entry round on November 14, 2025, targeted Healthcare and Social Services Occupations. A total of 3,500 invitations were issued, and the lowest CRS score invited was 462. For candidates with the same CRS score, the tie-breaker was the date and time their profiles were submitted, with priority given to earlier submissions. Canada uses general, program-specific, and category-based rounds to invite candidates. Provincial or territorial nominations boost CRS scores and improve chances of receiving an invitation. Candidates with higher CRS scores or nominations have the best chance of applying for permanent residence.

PEQ Is Ending: What You Can Do to Stay in Québec

The Québec Experience Program (PEQ), intended for temporary foreign workers and graduates from Québec, will end on November 19, 2025. New applications are no longer accepted, but previously submitted ones will still be processed by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration. Those seeking to stay in Québec permanently can instead submit their interest through Arrima, under the Québec Skilled Worker Program.
