PEQ Is Ending: What You Can Do to Stay in Québec

According to the Government of Québec, the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (Québec Experience Program, or PEQ) is designed for temporary foreign workers and foreign students who have graduated in Québec.

The PEQ will end on November 19, 2025, and it is no longer possible to apply under its two streams.

For those who have already submitted applications for permanent selection, rest assured that these will continue to be reviewed by the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration).

If you are looking to permanently settle in Québec, it is possible to declare your interest in Arrima, which falls under Québec’s Skilled Worker Selection Program.
